Cardinal First Program
All Phoenix Pact Scholars take part in Cardinal First, a program designed to support first-generation college students and their families, too. Through award-winning peer-mentoring and workshops, Cardinal First gives students access to skills vital for success in college and beyond. Students’ families become part of the community, learning what to expect and how to support their student’s college experience.
Premier Scholars Program
Offered through the Office of Multicultural Affairs, this program gives all Phoenix Pact Scholar freshmen a jump start on the transition to college with workshops, early move-in, and a peer mentor-leader who’ll help guide you through your first year.
“I felt welcomed at North Central College. Programs like Cardinal First and those offered by the Office of Multicultural Affairs give you the opportunity to create your own community and an environment to call your own.” Kimarrie King; NLCP 2016, North Central College 2020
