“Aside from wanting to become the President when I was 4, working in the health field has always been a dream of mine. I spent a lot of my childhood caring for sick relatives and wanting to do more, so it just seemed fitting to pursue a career in healthcare. My journey to nursing wasn’t a simple one, but I found my way and I have no regrets. My ultimate goal is to be an emergency medicine/trauma nurse practitioner.

As a nurse, I plan to make a difference by caring for and educating others. It is my hope that my passion for medicine and caring for others will contribute to repairing the world. Even if, through my service as a nurse, it is as simple as being to put a smile on a single patient’s face each day to remind them that they are not alone.”
