BA in Psychology, Carleton College 2013
Founding Principal of KIPP Wonder Academy - St. Louis, Missouri

“I'm living my dream. Sometimes I feel like my life and passion for my profession is all too good to be true. Every morning it’s so easy to wake up and get to work. I have had the honor of founding and leading a school; taking it from a thought in my mind to a place of learning and community. Each day we are able to come to this beautiful space filled with the buzz of children’s laughter, problem-solving, and learning about themselves and the world around them. I hope that someday all RBL Scholars and all the students in my school get to do the same and live their dream.”

Advice to NLCP seniors as they look to their future:
“Take the next four years to learn what you value and don't think of it as a stepping stone to living a life of what you want to do. Rather think of it as the stepping stone to living a life of choosing who are those you want to help.”

Repairing the World starts at home.
“We have to change the narrative that we ‘make it out of our community’. We have to think of it as empowering ourselves to stay in and lead our community. This is why I do the work I do in St. Louis in a neighborhood with similar needs to North Lawndale.”
